Eligibility Requirements & Event Policies:

  • Nominees must be an active Member of the Lloydminster Chamber in order to run for an award. (If a business is not a member of the Chamber at the time of nomination, the business will have the opportunity to join the Chamber before submitting an application.)
  • Nominees must be a business or business owner. Non-Profit organizations are not eligible. The Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce recognizes the value of Non-Profit organizations in the community and chooses a Non-Profit of the Year winner to honour at the gala each year.
  • Some Award Categories have specific eligibility requirements (ei. Small Business of the Year Award: Must be in business for more than 3 years). Businesses must fit the requirements to run for the award.
  • Businesses may be nominated for multiple awards, but may only run for one. If a business is nominated for more than one award by the public, they will be allowed to choose which award they would like to run for.
  • Businesses that have one an award at the Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards in the last three years, are not eligible to run for an award. (For example, if a Business won an award in 2023, they will not be eligible to run for an award again until 2027.)
